    3. Opening Complete Links:
      • Copy the full link provided in the Neftaly document or notepad.
      • Paste the link into the import field on NeftalyCDR.
      • Click “Open / Import” to load the topic.

This process ensures that all topics are imported without missing content or broken references, maintaining data integrity across NeftalyCMR and NeftalyCRR systems.

    3. Challenges Encountered

    • Some links were incomplete or improperly formatted, requiring manual correction before import.
    • Initial login issues for new users caused minor delays.

    • Successfully imported over 100 topics using the above procedure.
    • Documented step-by-step instructions for staff to follow independently.
    • Verified accuracy and completeness of imported topics.

    5. Next Steps

    • Continue importing remaining topics in batches to prevent overload.
    • Conduct follow-up training for all new staff on NeftalyCDR link imports.
    • Prepare a troubleshooting guide for common link errors.

    6. Observations

    • Staff quickly adapted to the NeftalyCDR interface once clear instructions were provided.
    • Complete links are essential for smooth imports; broken or truncated links cause workflow delays.
    • Regular monitoring of imported topics ensures consistency across all Neftaly reporting systems.

    Neftaly Daily Report

    Subject: IMPORTING

    Tasks Completed

    • Today, I successfully loaded multiple topics from the Neftaly Vision Group into the XLS2Teams NeftalyCMR and XLSTeams NeftalyCRR groups using online Excel. The tasks included:
    • Consolidating incoming topic lists and verifying completeness.
    • Ensuring the correct formatting of topics to match both NeftalyCMR and NeftalyCRR group requirements.
    • Coordinating with relevant team members to avoid duplication and maintain data integrity.
    • Confirming that all imported topics are accessible and organized for future referencing.
    • This task ensured that both teams now have a fully updated and synchronized repository of all research topics, which will facilitate smoother workflows and better collaboration between departments.

    Tasks In Progress

    • Monitoring and validating the topics in both NeftalyCMR and NeftalyCRR groups for consistency.
    • Cross-checking the newly imported data for accuracy, formatting errors, and potential duplicates.
    • Preparing reports on any discrepancies found during the import process to discuss with the supervisor.
    • Coordinating with team members for additional topic submissions and clarifications.

    Planned Tasks for Tomorrow

    • Continue importing newly received topics and updating the Excel sheets in real-time.
    • Collaborate with team members to ensure the topics that are sent are properly cleared or marked to avoid overlapping with previous submissions.
    • Review the Excel logs for any errors in topic placement and correct them immediately.
    • Begin compiling a weekly summary report of imported topics for management review.

    Challenges and Solutions

    Challenge:

    • Some individuals sending topics have not deleted old submissions after confirmation, which blocks me from working on new topics efficiently.

    Solution:

    • I have planned to implement a verification step where outdated topics are flagged and communicated back to the sender for removal.
    • I will also maintain a temporary “pending clearance” log to ensure that new topics can continue being imported without delays.

    Evidence on Task

    • Logs from XLS2Teams NeftalyCMR and XLSTeams NeftalyCRR groups showing timestamps of updates.

    Results and Reflections

    • The imports have significantly reduced backlog and improved accessibility of topics for both NeftalyCMR and NeftalyCRR groups.
    • The structured approach to topic management is expected to increase efficiency in research tracking and team coordination.
    • Proactive measures to handle outdated submissions will further streamline the process and reduce future delays.

    4. Puluko Nkiwane – Neftaly Chief Marketing Officer

    5. Tsakani Rikhotso – Neftaly Chief Learning, Monitoring, and Evaluation Officer

    Opening Remarks

The meeting was officially opened by Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Neftaly Malatjie, at 07:06.
He emphasised that not all Chiefs should be upset with the morning session, as its purpose was to build accountability, leadership discipline, and stronger management oversight within Neftaly’s executive structures.

    Discussion Overview

The CEO led the session by posing a series of reflective and accountability-based questions to assess the Chiefs’ engagement with their teams, adherence to policies, and leadership execution.

Key Questions Raised by the CEO

How many of you were having a morning meeting with your team?

How many of you are hosting training with your team?

How many of you documented the minutes?

How many of you follow up and document meetings?

How many of you receive feedback?

How many of you receive feedback in the document or verbally?

How many of us do training with the team and document?

How many of you use a training management policy for the training held?

Do you write to meet with your team?

Is your agenda in the policy?

Who has the agenda for the meeting?

Do you have a training report?

Does anyone have a structure for the training policy?

Do you have a reporting structure to follow the policy?

Do your managers report to you daily?

Do you track your team’s work?

Do you receive their report on Teams?

How many people vote on the report?

    Do you discipline your people?

    Did you report poor performance?

Does your manager have the authority to make decisions?

Are you a Chief/Owner? (All responded “Yes.”)

    Responses

A document containing all responses to the above questions was recorded and kept on file for reference and follow-up.

The CEO made it clear that:

“We do not want to see a Chief writing a report. A Chief checks, verifies, and approves reports for handover.”

This highlighted the importance of Chiefs focusing on leadership oversight rather than administrative tasks.

    Special Note

Chief Nancy Mdaka was authorized to publish a meeting on charity and compile all related initiatives under one unified idea for submission.

    Findings

From the CEO’s assessment, the following findings were made:

Most Chiefs have not yet demonstrated full readiness or ownership of their responsibilities.

There is evidence that some Chiefs are panicked, uncertain, and afraid to execute their duties confidently.

There is a lack of structured follow-up, documentation, and adherence to Neftaly’s management policies.

Chiefs must transition from reactive to proactive leadership to strengthen departmental performance and accountability.

    Conclusion

The Mogoshing Meeting provided a valuable platform for reflection and leadership growth among all Royal Chiefs.
    Chiefs were reminded to:

Conduct and document regular team meetings and training sessions.

Adhere to the Training Management Policy and reporting structures.

Focus on oversight, verification, and accountability.

Empower their managers to act effectively within their delegated authority.

The meeting was adjourned at 09:03 with a commitment from all Chiefs to take stronger ownership of their leadership roles and responsibilities.
