In accordance with Neftaly’s Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Policy and procedures for appointing Health and Safety Representatives, the Neftaly Diepsloot Team would like to formally request the appointment of a new OHS Representative for our site.

This request follows the need to ensure full compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and to maintain a safe and healthy working environment for all staff and learners. The current representation needs to be updated to ensure continued coordination of safety matters, incident reporting, risk assessments, and health and safety committee participation.

We propose that management facilitate the nomination and selection process as outlined in the OHS Policy, which includes:

Informing all employees of the available position.

Allowing staff to nominate suitable candidates.

Conducting a fair selection or election process.

Officially appointing the selected representative in writing.

We kindly request that the appointment process be concluded at the earliest convenience to ensure continuous compliance and promote workplace safety awareness.
