The primary purpose of this monitoring session was to review the progress of the NeftalyCDR Development team and to ensure that reporting standards and organisational procedures are being followed consistently.
Specifically, the session addressed the following objectives:
2.1 Monitoring NeftalyCDR Progress
Assessing ongoing performance and progress toward quarterly targets.
Identifying gaps, delays, and areas requiring improvement.
2.2 Handover Report Clarification and Training
Demonstrating the required components of the daily handover report.
Showing team members:
How to interlink all planned meetings in the report.
How to interlink event reports within the handover template.
How to correctly structure daily submissions, including observations, questions, and challenges.
Reinforcing the requirement that all daily meetings must be documented and a complete report submitted consistently.

3.1 Low Quarter 3 Target Numbers
A major challenge identified is that quarter 3 performance numbers are significantly below the expected target.
The team was advised to intensify efforts, strategies, and coordination to improve progress before the end of the reporting period.
3.2 Staffing and Team Changes
It was noted that several members of the Development team recently gained employment, leading to reduced team capacity.
This staffing shift is likely contributing to slower progress and lower output numbers.

Strengthen daily reporting to ensure better tracking of activities and performance.
Reassign tasks where necessary to fill gaps left by team members who have exited.
Increase collaboration and communication within the NeftalyCDR team to improve efficiency.

- Purpose of Monitoring
The purpose of the NeftalyCLMR monitoring session was to trace evaluation processes, assess output objectives, verify findings, and identify any challenges encountered by the NeftalyCRR team during operations. The monitoring aimed to ensure accuracy, progress, task completion, and adherence to organisational standards.
- Activities and Tasks Performed
2.1 Sphiwe Sibiya
Sphiwe completed the following core tasks related to topic and content management:
Executed task 481, which involved creating topics and performing content scrapping.
Processed Import 464 through the i6 update, with no updates required, and skipped items marked as non-essential.
2.2 Patricia Maake
Patricia was responsible for:
Scrapping topics for Marketing and Research, ensuring that the database is enriched with relevant and updated content.
2.3 Pertunia Thobejane
Pertunia worked on document management and content clean-up by:
Deleting outdated or redundant topics.
Downloading all documents linked to research topics and policy briefs for reviewing, archiving, or further processing.
2.4 Otsepeeng Lesele
Otsepeeng contributed to system development by:
Importing topics for development, ensuring all incoming content is properly integrated into the Neftaly system.

Rikhotso conducted a demonstration for the NeftalyCRR team on how to search for events on the platform en.saypro.online, improving team navigation skills and system understanding.

The purpose of the session was to monitor progress, assess current outputs, and evaluate the overall performance and challenges within the Neftaly CMR/CLMR and Marketing Teams.
- Neftaly Daily Planning Meeting
No daily planning meeting was conducted NONE
It was noted that the Marketing Team continues to experience delays in submitting reports on time, with a few team members’ progress being excellent, which affects internal planning and workflow.

Team Size: 12 members
3.1 Challenges Identified
Network Connectivity Issues
The Neftaly Sparrow team currently does not have functional network access.
This has affected their ability to attend online trainings, perform assigned tasks, and participate in scheduled activities.
Training on Tawk System
Nkiwane was scheduled to train the team on how to use the Tawk communication and support system.
The training could not take place effectively because the team was unavailable due to poor connectivity.
MICT SETA University Funding Issue
The MICT SETA University team members did not receive their payments and subsequently resigned.
This resignation has created a gap in capacity and continuity of tasks.
Team Motivation and Idea Implementation
The Marketing Team reports having several new ideas and improvements they want to implement.
However, they expressed dissatisfaction because these ideas are not being fully supported or executed.
They want more freedom and support to implement initiatives that make economic and operational sense.
3.2 Progress and Positive Developments
Performance by Nkiwane
It was noted that Nkiwane is performing well and continues to contribute significantly to team coordination and support.
Weekly Logbook Sessions
Starting immediately, the team will complete and review their logbooks every Thursday.
This is expected to improve accountability and tracking of tasks.
Daily Marketing Meetings
The Marketing Team has introduced daily planning and performance meetings.
These meetings help them align their duties, structure their workflow, and improve efficiency.
