1. Purpose of the Meeting
The meeting was held under NeftalyCRR (Community Research and Reporting) to provide an introductory training session for Nasiera, a newly appointed Research Member. The objective was to familiarize her with Neftaly’s research procedures, topic creation methods, and reporting processes.
2. Training Overview
The training session was facilitated by Mr. Sibiya, with support from Mr. Lesele and Ms. Rasdien. The following key areas were covered:
- Creating 5,000 Topics: Comprehensive guidance on developing structured and relevant topics that align with Neftaly’s research goals.
- Extracting Topics from Fiverr: Demonstration on how to identify and extract research-related topics using Fiverr as a resource tool.
- Preparing and Sending Reports: Instruction on Neftaly’s standard report preparation process, emphasizing accuracy, clarity, and timely submission.
3. Challenges Encountered
The team experienced internet connectivity issues, which caused delays in:
- Publishing the newly created topics.
- Submitting the daily report as scheduled.
4. Additional Work Completed
In addition to the training, progress was made on developing the Neftaly Vision Group Areas Sheet, designed to enhance data organization and usability for research activities within the department.
5. Next Steps
- Complete the publishing of created topics once internet connectivity is restored.
- Submit the pending daily report.
- Schedule follow-up training sessions with Nasiera to review progress and provide continued guidance.
- Refine the Neftaly Vision Group Areas Sheet for improved functionality and clarity.
6. Observations
Nasiera displayed enthusiasm, active participation, and a strong willingness to learn throughout the training session. With continued mentoring and practical experience, she is expected to integrate efficiently into Neftaly’s research workflow.
