3. Purpose of the Training
The objective of the session was to guide the Neftaly Learning Monitoring and Evaluation Team on essential daily operational procedures and correct reporting methods. The session focused on:
- Understanding the daily work expectations for the LME team.
- Training the team on how to conduct structured daily meetings to ensure alignment and consistency.
- Demonstrating the correct process for preparing reports according to Neftaly Procedure P409-8-1-2.
- Training on the proper implementation of the Daily Report Event methodology.
- Showing the team how to attach evidence and supporting documents correctly on the NeftalyApp for verification and compliance purposes.
4. Key Training Activities
4.1 Daily Work Responsibilities
- Explanation of the routine tasks expected from team members.
- Clarification of monitoring, evaluation, and reporting priorities.
- Discussion on time management and proper documentation of daily activities.
4.2 Conducting Daily Meetings
- Introduction to a standard meeting structure: agenda setting, reporting, feedback, and action planning.
- How to communicate progress and challenges effectively.
- Ensuring meetings are recorded, summarised, and followed up.
4.3 Reporting Procedures (NeftalyP409-8-1-2)
- Step-by-step walkthrough of the procedure requirements.
- Template review for daily and event reporting.
- Highlighting common errors and best practices for accuracy.
4.4 Daily Report Event Implementation
- Instructions on completing the Daily Report Event form.
- Guidance on capturing accurate field data and project activity outcomes.
4.5 Uploading Evidence on NeftalyApp
- Practical demonstration on:
- Uploading supporting documents (photos, files, attendance registers, reports).
- Ensuring proper naming conventions and linking evidence to the correct event or report.
- Verifying uploads for system approval.
5. Outcome
- The team gained a clear understanding of daily operations and expectations.
- Members are now better equipped to conduct effective daily meetings.
- The LME team can confidently prepare reports in compliance with Neftaly Procedure P409-8-1-2.
- Participants learned how to correctly upload and link evidence to the NeftalyApp, enhancing accountability and data reliability.
6. Next Steps
- Team members to begin implementing daily reporting and evidence uploads immediately.
- A follow-up support session may be scheduled if required for reinforcement.
- Monitoring of adherence to NeftalyP409-8-1-2 will begin in the next reporting cycle.
